Vijayawada(Samrudha Odisha ) August 6: Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sri S. Abdul Nazeer and First Lady Smt. Sameera Nazeer planted saplings in Raj Bhavan lawns here on Tuesday as part of the tree plantation programme. Governor Sri Abdul Nazeer, has asked all the Universities of Andhra Pradesh to initiate a comprehensive sanitation and cleaning programme for the drainage systems, toilets and entire campus premises of universities and other educational institutions, including all buildings and associated facilities under the Swachh Bharat programme. The Vice Chancellors have also been instructed to take up tree plantation on a large scale in available areas within the campuses of universities and educational institutions, ensure their survival through adequate watering, manuring, proper protection, and monitoring their growth with the help of geotagging. Dr. M. Hari Jawaharlal, Secretary to Governor and other officers and staff members of Raj Bhavan have participated in the programme.
రాజ్‌భవన్‌లో మొక్కలు నాటిన గవర్నర్ అబ్దుల్ నజీర్
విజయవాడ, ఆగస్టు 6: రాజ్ భవన్ క్యాంపస్ ప్రాంగణంలో మంగళవారం జరిగిన కార్యక్రమంలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర గవర్నర్ శ్రీ ఎస్. అబ్దుల్ నజీర్ జాక్‌ఫ్రూట్ మొక్కను నాటారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రథమ మహిళ శ్రీమతి సమీరా నజీర్ సంపంగి (మాగ్నోలియా చంపాకా) మొక్కను నాటారు. రాష్ట్ర విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల కులపతిగా ఉన్న గవర్నర్ శ్రీ అబ్దుల్ నజీర్, అన్ని రాష్ట్ర విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల ఉప కులపతులకు మొక్కలు నాటడం, స్వచ్ఛ భారత్ కార్యక్రమాలు అమలు చేయడానికి అవసరమైన తగు సూచనలను జారీ చేయాల్సిందిగా ఉన్నత విద్యా శాఖను ఆదేశించారు. విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలలోనూ, ఇతర విద్యాసంస్థలలోనూ డ్రైనేజీ వ్యవస్థలు, మరుగుదొడ్లు, క్యాంపస్ ప్రాంగణాల్లో సమగ్ర పారిశుద్ధ్యం, పరిశుభ్రత కార్యక్రమాన్ని స్వచ్ఛ భారత్ కార్యక్రమం కింద అన్ని భవనాలు మరియు అనుబంధ సౌకర్యాలతో సహా విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల క్యాంపస్‌లలో అందుబాటులో ఉన్న ప్రదేశాలలో మొక్కలు నాటడం, వాటికి తగిన నీరు పోయడం, ఎరువు, సరైన సంరక్షణ, జియోట్యాగింగ్ సహాయంతో వాటి ఎదుగుదలను పర్యవేక్షించాల్సిందిగా గవర్నర్ ఆదేశించారు. ఈ రోజు రాజ్ భవన్ లో జరిగిన కార్యక్రమంలో గవర్నర్ కార్యదర్శి డా. ఎం. హరి జవహర్‌లాల్‌, రాజ్‌భవన్‌ అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.
